Create a project plan

When you start a project that involves other people, you will need to coordinate the work with them. A project plan documents the goals and process of a project so that it is clear to all involved.

When you first get a request from a client, begin to put down what you heard they want. Ask questions about what they have in mind, and what they want to achieve.

It's important to determine the scope of the project. It's ok to break the project down into phases if future steps are unclear.

A good project plan brings clarity between a client and the team, and aligns everyone so that decisions can be made in accordance with a solid plan.
