Create search facets

Search facets tell the user how many items will be returned for each filter.

Instructions

  1. Enable the Facets module.
  2. Go to facets configuration.
    Configuration > Search and metadata > Facets
  3. Add Topics Facet.
    Facet source: View Search, display Page
    Field: Topics (field_topics)
    Name: Topics
  4. Configure Topics facet.
    Show the amount of results.
    Transform entity ID to label.
    Use hierarchy.
  5. Add Topics facet block to content region.
