Word of mouth referral

I got an email from a college friend that said he knows someone who needs a website. I said I was available.

He put me in touch with the friend, who confirmed it could work and put me in touch with the client.

I sent an email, explaining my new approach, and asked for a meeting.

Next steps are to find out what they're thinking, outline an approach, and discuss the budget. Then I will need to establish a work schedule and invite participants.

Initial client meeting

It took a few calls to arrange the first meeting, to coordinate with the client's travel schedule. I got to see their cool downtown location and get a sense of their shop.

They are interested in a redesign and some other technical support, but a top priority now is to help find vintage guitars to buy.

This means SEO work to help get in front of people who are wondering how to sell their vintage guitars.
